Scream Silently
Being diagnosed with skin cancer may seem like the end of the world – but it isn’t.

Question: How does a girl get a marriage proposal, join in a curry party and encounter a singing night- nurse from her hospital bed all in the same evening?
Answer: Be diagnosed with cancer, have major surgery and experience the NHS.
It wasn’t how things were meant to go. I was hurtling along life’s road, working whilst raising three young children when I crashed head first into cancer. Before I knew it I had to take a course in survival and learn a whole new world of hospitals. Add to that a dose of MRSA, a five year drug trial and a whole cast of hilarious characters and you’ve just about got the idea.
This is my roller -coaster ride, my triumph over adversity, my story of hope and survival.
